OSHA’s Record keeping Guidance for COVID-19 requires employers to make a determination of work-relatedness for each employee who has a confirmed positive COVID-19 illness. Employers are also required to document their investigation and log illnesses that are work-related on the OSHA 300 log.
Through this investigation, if the employer cannot confirm that the infection clearly occurred outside of the workplace, a claim should be submitted to Prescient National for a compensability investigation. Download our COVID Investigation Form below to help guide the investigation.
